Founded in 2015, Ilayugam Trust focuses on supporting cancer-affected children, women, and marginalized communities through education, health care, and social protection initiatives. The trust follows a community-based and inclusive approach that prioritizes dignity, empowerment, and sustainability. Our work spans child welfare, women’s livelihood support, anti-human trafficking awareness, and community development. We actively collaborate with government hospitals, NGOs, educational institutions, and community networks. Through structured programs and emergency assistance, we address both immediate needs and long-term wellbeing. Transparency, compassion, and accountability guide all our interventions. To date, Ilayugam Trust has impacted thousands of lives across vulnerable communities in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Super Mother Wellness Program

A unique wellness and stress-relief program was organized for mothers caring for children with cancer. The session included motivational talks, interactive activities, and emotional support. Mothers actively participated and shared their experiences. The program helped reduce caregiver stress and burnout. Participants reported improved confidence and positivity. Partner NGOs supported the initiative. The program was held in Chennai.

Mother’s Ward Renovation at Egmore

We renovated a neonatal mothers’ accommodation ward at Egmore Children’s Hospital. The ward was upgraded to provide a clean, safe, and dignified living environment. Support was received from individual donors and well-wishers. Hospital authorities inaugurated the renovated facility. Mothers staying with newborns benefited directly. The initiative improved hygiene and comfort standards. The activity took place in Chennai.

Education Material Support for Cancer Children

Ilayugam Trust distributed educational materials to cancer-affected children undergoing treatment at government hospitals. The initiative ensured learning continuity during prolonged hospital stays. About 60 children benefited directly from this support. Donors and community partners actively participated in the distribution. The program helped reduce emotional stress among children and families. Parents expressed relief in seeing their children continue education. The activity was conducted in Chennai.
